rest, without
the rulebook.

i help nyc parents build calm, confident sleep foundations. no rigid schedules to fail at, no method handed down from a rulebook. we start with the most parent-present approach that fits your kid, choose it together, and i teach you to read your baby, so the plan bends when they do.

start with the intake how it works
the one idea

teach the parent to read the baby.

the plan is a document. the baby is a moving target. i teach you to tell a normal wobble from a real signal, so when the plan bends, you know why.

01

follow the cues

i read your kid's actual sleep, not a chart's version of it. wake windows that flex with the day.

02

a plan that bends

built from your kid, your schedule, your setup. every call comes with the why.

03

i stay close

live support, every day, for two full weeks. the person who answers wrote your plan.

read the whole method
having support on hand was amazing. i wish i could have it forever. she checked in every day, answered quickly, and gave honest feedback without ever making me feel crazy. she took what i was saying, acknowledged it, and corrected it, and reminded me that everything happening was normal.

the first step

let's find you some rest.

it starts with a short intake, about 15 minutes, and then a free intro call. we'll talk through where sleep is now and whether the two weeks is right for your family.

the method

the method.

when parents ask about my method, they're usually asking two things underneath. will you make me do something i'm not comfortable with, and what happens with the crying. fair questions. here's the honest answer.

i'm trained across the full range of evidence-based approaches, and i always start with the most parent-present option that fits your kid's age and temperament. we choose the method together, before night one, so you know exactly what the first night looks like before it happens. nothing in the plan will be a surprise, and nothing in it happens without you understanding why.

gentle is not the same as unsure. you can hold a boundary at bedtime and hold your baby too. those were never opposites.

how it gets chosen

there is no method that fits every kid, which is why anyone who names one before asking about your child is selling a template with your name on it. the method comes from your kid, not the other way around. what i'm weighing: their age and temperament, what you're genuinely comfortable with, your setup and your schedule, and what your nights actually look like right now. that's what the intake and our call are for. by the time we pick an approach, it isn't a guess.

questions, answered

no. under four months the work looks different: young babies aren't being trained, they're building the foundations of sleep. at that age i'm shaping those foundations with you, not training a newborn out of needing you. i work with families from the newborn fog through toddlerhood.

wake windows, yes. a fixed schedule, no. wake windows are a range, not a clock, and the right end of the range depends on how the last nap actually went. a chart can't see your kid's morning. you can, and i teach you to read it.

almost always earlier. overtired costs more than undertired. an undertired kid takes twenty extra minutes to fall asleep. an overtired kid fights sleep on cortisol and wakes more all night. when in doubt, go early.

then that's the first thing we fix, and it matters more than which method we choose. consistency carries the plan: everyone in the house running the same approach, the same way, every night. that's not about being strict. it's about your kid getting one clear answer instead of five.

then i'll say so, and send you to your pediatrician. feeding volumes, reflux, weight, anything medical: that's their lane, always. a plan you can trust is a plan that knows its boundaries.

every day, for the full two weeks, yes, really. you're never left wondering whether you're allowed. and every call in your plan comes with the reasoning behind it, because a parent who understands the why can hold the line at 2am, when it's the plan that's with you.

because from the moment you pay, i'm building. your plan lands within 48 hours, and the up-front payment is what makes that speed possible.

i check in a week after we wrap, and we set a dated check-back for a moment that matters for your kid specifically: the next regression window, a trip, the crib-to-bed move. you're not ghosted at the finish line.

anything feeding or medical goes to your pediatrician, not to me. feeding volumes, reflux, weight, all of it, every time. i stay in my lane and i'm clear about where the lane ends, because a plan you can trust is a plan that knows its boundaries.

the method serves your family, not the other way around. if you want to know which one fits your kid, that starts with the intake, not a guess.

how we work together

the two weeks.

one engagement, start to steady sleep. before night one, i get the full picture of your baby and your days and build the plan. then the two weeks begin, and i'm beside you through every day of them.

you fill out the intake, we talk on the intro call, and within 24 hours of signing on your plan lands. we walk through every piece of it together on a call, so nothing on night one is a surprise. we start. daily check-ins, real-time adjustments, and a steady hand through the first hard nights. live text and email, every day. we hold the plan through the wobbles, name the early regressions, and hand the reins fully back to you. your plan document is yours to keep, i check in a week later, and we set a dated check-back for the next moment that matters. a regression window, a trip, the crib-to-bed move.

i'm a certified pediatric sleep consultant, and the plan is built to hold at 2am.

i started crib notes after my own long nights, and the realization that the loudest sleep advice was also the most frightening. parents don't need to be told to be tougher. they need someone calm, evidence-led, and honest about what's actually going on with their kid.

that's the job as i see it. i read your whole picture before we ever talk, i explain the reasoning behind every single call, and i'm a text away every day for the full two weeks. at 2am it's the plan that's with you, not me, and that's by design. a parent who understands the why can hold the line when i'm not there.

i work with a small number of families at a time, so no one gets a script. you get me. and i'm not writing any of this from the other side of parenting. i have a baby at home right now, and we sleep very well.

from the families

their words, when they're ready.

the families i work with are in the thick of it, and their stories are theirs to tell, not mine to borrow. real quotes will live here as they come in, shared only with permission. no invented reviews, ever. that felt like the right way to start.

if we've worked together and you'd like to add a few words, i would be honored. and if you're just deciding, the honest place to begin is the intake.

the shortlist

things worth keeping in the nursery.

a few things i reach for again and again. no gadgets that promise sleep, just the quiet basics that make a calm night a little easier to reach.

the comforter swaddle

the swaddle that feels like a hug, not a wrap. snug enough to quiet the startle, simple enough to get right at 2am.

where to find it →

the nanit video monitor

good enough to check, quiet enough to put down. it works for you, not the other way around.

where to find it →

the hatch sound machine bundle

steady, boring, and on all night. the home and travel pair means the same even white noise at home and on the road.

where to find it →

the coterie wipe

gentle, sturdy, and unscented. the one i reach for on the middle-of-the-night changes you want to keep calm and quick.

where to find it →

the newton crib mattress

firm, flat, and breathable. firm is the whole point. nothing plush, nothing angled, nothing extra in the crib.

where to find it →

the keekaroo changing pad

wipeable, seamless, and no cover to launder. one less thing to deal with on a 3am change.
